Personal - I'm back! My apologies to all my "cousins." After one year, we finally are established in our new home and most of the boxes have been unpacked. I am still on oxygen 24/7 and tethered to a tank. However, a maintenance dose of steroids has restored my energy and my outlook on life. Darrin Lythgoe, the creator of the TNG software program, has helped me get my website back on line and it's been upgraded with many new features. I'm gradually working through all the input you have given me and I thank you for your patience. David (August 6, 2009)
Cartwright/Morse: The list of Cartwright/Weld descendants continues to expand with the addition of Sanford B. Morse, the husband of Helen Weld Cartwright (1896-1975), and their descendants. A biography for Helen's grandfather, James Weld Cartwright, Sr. (1842-1910), has also been added.
David Claypoole Johnston: Our family, who lived in DC Johnston?s Dorchester home for over 120 years, knew he had a sister Susan (spinster) and a brother William (descendants living in Louisiana). Now, thanks to John W. Taylor of Florida, the great grandson of DC Johnston's sister Jane, we find DCJ was actually one of six siblings. Click on William Johnston's page to see the list of siblings. Follow his sister Jane's line by her husband Lewis Hazelius Taylor down to our cousin John Taylor. On the Home Page click on Albums to learn about the Taylor Iron & Steel Works - a fascinating story.
