Stories passed down through descendants make it clear that Grampa Edwards typically had a mug of beer in hand. He loved to go to the pub and often imbibed too much. Her mother used to put hot cinders in it and move it between the sheets to warm them up. At the time she said the electric plug on the wall in back of the chair was new - 48 pounds and worth it. |
